Everybody loves a good quiz, whether down at the pub as part of a team or at home with friends and family. The Brown’s General Knowledge Quiz Book Volume 1, by Lewis Pearce, is great for running your own quizzes and features 150 pot luck quizzes with 2250 questions. It is family friendly with various topics and suitable for all abilities. You could even use it as a tool to prepare for quizzes that you take part in!

As mentioned earlier, there are 150 quizzes in this book. They each have 15 questions and are a random mixture of general knowledge questions. As they are not categorised by subject matter it makes each quiz suitable for all ages and abilities and suited to team quizzes.

The answers are printed upside down on the bottom of each page, so there is no need to turn pages or find answers in the back of the book.

Overall, this is a great quiz book. It has a great blend on questions on a variety of topics. It seems to have been well researched with questions that are not too easy or impossibly hard, and you get to learn some new and interesting facts. The book is very well laid out and you can just dip in and out and do any quiz. For the quizmaster, the answers are readily available, so saves hunting for the correct answers.
