C. J. Tudor is a British author in the Thriller, Fiction, Mystery, Suspense, Psychological Thriller and Psychological fiction genres. She was born in Salisbury, England but grew up in Nottingham, where she still lives today.

Her style of writing is bold, eerie, creepy and thrilling, she is very much likened to Stephen King. Her books include The Chalk Man and The Taking of Annie Thorne.

Over the years she has worked as a trainee reporter, radio scriptwriter, copywriter, television presenter, voice-over artist, dog walker and now a very successful author.

Her debut novel, The Chalk Man, was a Sunday Times bestseller, won the International Thriller Writers Award for Best First Novel, the Barry Award, and the Strand Critics Award for Best Debut Novel and will be adapted for the screen in a new six-part BBC series.
